I Guess Boston CAN Beat The Best Of The West

Boston 96, Dallas 90

I was tempted just to leave the post at that. How many times this year did the talking heads say "Boston may be winning a lot, but they haven't played the good West teams." Well now they have and they won. Oh, and Boston did it with KG laid up for the third straight game.

Pierce and Allen scored 26 each and Rondo (who continues to make all the pre-season doubters look stupid) snagged the last of his 12 rebounds for an easy put-back that put the Celtics up for good at 92-90. James Posey had a huge game, scoring the last four points for Boston from the line to sew up the win.

I guess now the speech will be, "Well, they haven't played Phoenix or San Antonio yet." We'll have to wait until February to see how that shakes out. But I think they'll do just fine.
